“I have always believed that fashion was not only to make women more beautiful but also to reassure them, give them confidence.” — Yves Saint Laurent
I’m Christina- the girl behind Christinabtv. I created this space for like minded women who love fashion and life’s little luxuries. I want my blog to ignite your inner fashionista and teach her how to shine. If you are a shopaholic and luxury lover: you came to the right place! My goal is to share all of my knowledge on designer handbags, shoes, and clothes to help you live your most glamorous life (and look amazing while doing so). I believe all women regardless of income should own a Chanel bag. I have so many tips/tricks to teach you ways to afford designer (authentic) items without breaking the bank. Ultimately, I want to inspire you to be confident, beautiful and happy. It’s more than just designer fashion here on Christinabtv.
A little about me
I never feel more beautiful, more alive, more me than when I dress in what makes me happy. Give me a glass of champagne , louboutins, and a little white dress: I become too glam to give a damn.
I grew up in Miami, FL. The diverse culture in Miami inspired my fashion sense. The beautiful colors of the city, the heat glistening like expensive jewels, the upscale nightlife. It all shaped my current style. I spent my Summer’s at my parents lake house in Michigan which opened my eyes to the Midwest. I moved away to the midwest for college (Indiana University). After graduation, I decided to attend nursing school in Tampa, FL. I met my husband in Tampa and we briefly moved to Miami (where I’m from) and then to Dallas, TX (where he’s from). We are currently in Dallas and I’m loving the people, food, shopping, and the Fall weather! I never got Fall in Florida so I’m so happy to live somewhere with mild seasons.
I also love to travel to beautiful locations and share my travel journeys with you!
My Job Outside of Blogging
I am an oncology registered nurse. My patients inspired me to create my youtube channel, and blog. Cancer sucks. My patients remind me that at any moment, everything can change. It’s important to do what you love, make others smile, and be gracious. A hospital I worked for has a motto: “Your courage inspires ours.” The wonderful patients that I work with have the courage to wake up every day and fight their battle. Many of them thank me for taking care of them, but I should be the one thanking them. They inspire me more than I could ever truly inspire them. Their courage gives me the determination to do what I love and not back down.
I am thrilled to share this journey with you. I am excited to read your comments and interact with you on a personal level. Pour yourself a glass of champs and let’s talk fashion.
