Award Winning Cosmetics In Japan You Can Buy Now In USA!
I recently came back from a trip to Japan. There is a store there called Cosme and I was blown away. It’s like a Sephora but 10x bigger and much more impressive. What I was blown away with was how items were ranked and the best of the best items won a “Cosme award” (cosme is short for cosmetic).
The awards are given based on consumer reviews, sales, and popularity. Winning an award is a BIG DEAL. My favorite part is when you walk into the store- right in the middle- is this massive awards wall. All the products that won an award are showcased (ranked 1, 2, and 3) with a tester and products right next to it that you can add to your cart! It’s amazing! I loved it as a tourist- it made it so easy for me to shop.
When I was in Japan I made it a point to purchase Japanese brands I couldn’t buy in the USA. However, I kept a running list of all the products available in the USA that won awards and bought them as soon as I got home. If you know anything about Japanese culture, the beauty standards are incredibly high. Japanese women take pride in their skin (and it shows!) so I want to consume anything they rank!

I bought this when I got home and I’ve already used it multiple times. It’s amazing! My skin feels so refreshed and soft when I wake up. It feels like a moisturizer. I was worried it was going to feel oily or heavy (and I don’t like that when I sleep) but it’s the perfect consistency. Wear it at night and then wash your face in the morning for glowy, dewy skin. It’s so easy!
