This is my most requested topic EVER. I make a youtube video every year sharing my collection. Listen, I have a lot of bags. So if this is going to trigger you or make you feel bad I suggest you skip this post.
We all have vices in life and things we love to spend money on. Handbags are mine. So let’s talk about it!
I feel like I shouldn’t even have to say this but YES all of my bags are REAL and AUTHENTIC. I do NOT believe in buying fakes. There are so many second hand consignment shops that you can get authentic bags at for great prices that there is no reason to shop fakes. Will share stores I trust in this post!
Where I buy designer bags
A big question I get is where do I get my bags? How can I afford them? Well, I save for them and buy a few a year. My collection is so big because I’ve been buying designer bags since I was 21. I’m now in my mid 30’s. When I no longer use a bag I sell it and use those funds to purchase a new one. It becomes easier to buy and sell your collection as it grows.
I buy my bags directly from the retailer or pre-owned. I grew up in Miami and now live in Dallas. I’ve been fortunate to live in major cities where I have access to stores like Louis Vuitton and Gucci. However, things are much easier now as many retailers now allow you to buy online. For many years this was NOT the case. You could browse online but never buy. Chanel still doesn’t allow you to buy bags online but LV, Gucci, Prada and YSL all have e-commerce stores. This is smart in my opinion because the way we shop is changing. However, it is nice to go into stores and feel the bags and try them on. Many stores will give you champagne with a purchase (so it makes it a fun experience).
Let’s talk pre-owned. Personally, I love it. It saves me money and is sustainable shopping. It’s like buying a car. Many people opt to buy a pre-owned car because it’s more affordable. You can really save a pretty penny when you shop pre-owned. Another big question I get is how do you know the items are real? You need to shop at stores you trust. I very much trust Fashionphile. I’ve been buying from them for years with no issues. They now send you an authenticity card with your bag. Neiman Marcus recently purchased part of their business and together they work in partnership. You can shop with them with ease- I sure do! I’ve bought many bags from them with only very good experiences!
Lastly, I want to point out where you can authenticate your bags online. This should give you peace of mind. For $30 you can get your bags or luxury item authenticated within 1 hour. Real Authentication is a great resource to keep in your back pocket.
Gucci
This little bag packs a punch. It fits quite a bit. I use it for traveling and football games.
This is a vintage Gucci that I bought pre-loved. Gucci recently came out with an updated version. I prefer the vintage and love that many people don’t have it.
Prada
This bag is so ME! I love pink and I love crystals. I wear it more than you think and definitely recommend!
I love the pink one so much I wanted another one. I opted for the triangle shape (because it’s different) and I LOVE how you can adjust the straps and wear it as a bumbag.
Quintissential summer bag! Love wearing this one in warmer weather.
This bag comes in nylon and leather. I opted for leather and glad I did because it holds it shape better. Personally, I think it ages better than the nylon.

Fendi
Vintage and always a classic. This is one I wanted to have as a classic piece.
This one is trendy but so cute in warmer months.
Celine
The only bag I sold and rebought. I bought it in white and sold it and then purchased this one!
Dior
The Dior tote bag is fun but I wish it was easier to carry.
Saint Laurent
I always get compliments on this beauty!
This fits a ton! It’s a great price point too.

When this came out in pink I knew it had to come home with me!
An oldie but a goodie! I’ve owned this one for a long time. It’s great for weddings and easy to travel with.

Chanel
Love this one! I wear it a lot and it’s easy to style
This bag is iconic. I love the mini version because it can be worn casually or at night.
Such an easy to use everyday bag. I wear this one a lot and think it’s a great purchase.

A vintage Chanel tote that I LOVE. The big chunky straps and all leather bag is amazing.
Louis Vuitton
This is actually a makeup bag but I turned into a handbag! You just have to add these d-rings to it and then any strap you like!
My all time favorite bag! I wear this all the time.
This is a great crossbody and comes in different patterns.
A great bag and is becoming an LV classic.
You can’t go wrong with this one. Fits a ton and is very practical.
The perfect travel bag. I wear this one when traveling quite frequently.
Another perfect travel bag. This one fits in an airplane. The bigger size does not.
Louis Vuitton discontinued this bag so if you want it you will have to buy it pre-owned.

My newest LV! I decided to go with black over tan vachetta so I don’t have to worry about it getting dirty. I plan on using this for travel and don’t want to baby it.
