Avara is everywhere right now. They have grown tremendously over the past year. From a local boutique in Dallas, to being named ones of the fastest growing online shops in the USA! The owner Emily, lives in Dallas and she is a sweetheart. She use to work in Corporate America and quit to start her own boutique- and she’s crushing it. I love supporting a woman owned business!
Let’s talk Avara
All the pictures in this blog post are outfits from Avara. The stuff they sell is so cute!
Almost everything is under $100. Occasionally there are some pieces that are more expensive. Tops are usually around $50-$80, Dresses around $70-$90, and tons of affordable jeans! The heather jeans are great and are only $68! They come in tons of colors throughout the year.
Fit and Sizing
Avara is a boutique so they sell tons of different boutique brands. So items can very in sizing. What I like about Avara is they tell you in the description to size up if something runs small. I’ve found that most items are true to size, but I’ve had to size up here and there.
Many women get nervous shopping at boutiques because of sizing. A lot of boutiques just carry standard small through large and the smalls are usually very small! Avara sells a wider range of sizes like xs-xl. I like that they do xs because that means a small fits like a true small (size 4). XL is also great to carry because many boutiques don’t go past a size L. Jean sizing is from a size 24-33. The sizing range is really great for a boutique.
This is where Avara shines! The quality is incredible! The stuff they sell is comparable to Nordstrom but with better prices. I hate paying a lot of money for an item and then it falls apart on you. I’ve been shopping at Avara for over a year and I’ve never had an issue with their clothes.
As I said earlier, they sell different brands. With that said, some pieces are going to be better than others. That’s when it’s helpful to follow bloggers who do reviews. Avara works with tons of bloggers and I share their clothes all the time on my Instagram! Be sure to follow me on Instagram and you can see my try on hauls!
Avara has sales ALL THE TIME! They also have a sale section that always has good stuff. Items sell very quickly. So if you really want something I wouldn’t wait for a sale. The good news is you can always get 15% off with a discount code!
My blog readers can use code Christinabtv for 15% off. I reset my code every 90 days so you can use it again!
Overall, I think Avara is 100% worth the hype. Prices are great, quality is on point, and shopping small and supporting a women owned business is the cherry on top!
