4 Clever Tricks To Afford A Designer Bag. What girl doesn’t dream of a designer bag to carry on her arm? Then reality strikes when you see the five-figure price tag. Clever Tricks To Afford A Designer Bag
Know Where To Shop For Deals
This is my biggest secret that I want to share with you. If you shop here you will find designer bags like Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Chanel, and more for insanely discounted prices. All items are 100% authentic. You are probably thinking well what’s the catch? The “catch” is that the best way to save money on designer handbags is to buy pre-owned. I have purchased many handbags from here. Almost half of my collection!
It’s like buying a pre-owned car. Instead of buying brand new you save thousands of dollars with gently used. Just like a car listing, the handbag listing goes into details about the wear and tear, any major issues, and overall condition. I love how detailed the website is and makes buying with confidence Very easy!
Warning: This website it addicting and you will most likely make a purchase!
Say Goodbye To Starbucks (Kind Of)
I’m not immune to the Starbucks addiction. I admit, I have a problem. Starbucks trips use to happen daily (sometimes twice a day) for me. Happily, I have quit the habit. I still go to Starbucks but see it as a treat. I tend to go when I’m at the airport or hanging out on the weekends. Sometimes during the week, but not often. Daily trips now look like weekly or every other week trips.
If you go to Starbucks everyday you are easily spending 5-10 dollars a day. That adds up quick! For me, it was more about the calories I was consuming than the money. Cutting out Starbucks with increase your bank account and decrease your waistline! Win, win!
Starbucks hack: Learn to make Starbucks drinks at home! These syrups are perfect for macchiattos. I only use them once a week as a treat (because they have a lot of sugar/carbs.) During the week I use this dairy free creamer (mix it with almond milk) which has very little calories and carbs. I add just one packet of sugar to sweeten. It’s delicious!
Sell Old Stuff To Make Room For New Stuff
Personally, I love to sell gently used handbags and clothes on Poshmark. Then I use the money I make to buy new things like designer handbags. I’m currently doing a huge closet clear out along with new merchandise in my Poshmark closet. I’m going to use the money I make to buy a new Louis Vuitton handbag (hopefully) for my birthday in April.
This is one of the most clever ways that I’m able to afford new luxury handbags.
Don’t Make This Mistake
Something I have learned over the years is to avoid making impulse purchases. Don’t buy a bag just because it’s a “good deal.” Don’t settle on a color just because it’s in stock. Save up for the bag you truly love. You will be much happier with your decision and keep the handbag for a longer period of time.
One thing I do to avoid impulse purchases is write down my wishlist or create a vision board. This keeps me focused and helps prevent me from making impulse purchases.
