If you need new pictures for the ‘gram than look no farther! As a blogger, I am always looking for new backdrops and scenic views. I am excited about a hot rooftop bar with lush gardens and pink flowers.
Astra Miami is the place you need to be if you want your Instagram likes to double overnight. I posted this photo on my Instagram and instantly got great engagement! That can be hard to do with all of the Insta algorithm changes. Everyone seems to be on the #strugglebus with Insta lately.

Astra Miami Ambiance
The ambiance at Astra is mostly what makes it so picture-worthy. There are decorative chairs and lounges in a sky garden filled with a a boutique wall of flowers. Be sure to plan a stop here on your next Miami vacation.
If you are a local like me, than you know Wynwood has a ton to offer! This is a great place to plan your next Brunch or girls night out.
It looks like Astra getting busiest at night but I went during brunch. I went early, around 1130 (which is early for Miami folk) and while there were a few people there it wasn’t very busy. This was great because it gave me plenty of time to take photos without anyone in the way!
Things started to pick up around 1230. The bar was starting to get busy. I spoke to one girl who was from Dallas, so out of town guests are learning about Astra!
There are pink walls indoors and outdoors before entering the rooftop. Perfect for your Instagram feed!
Astra Miami Food
I ordered the Kagianas (Greek scrambled eggs with tomatoes, pita, olives) and it was amazing! It far exceeded my expectations. The eggs were scrambled in a tomato base and hit the spot. My friend ordered the salmon tartar on a bed of avocado and she said it was really fresh and delicious.
Astra Miami has Greek food with signature cocktails. Honestly, I was expecting the restaurant to be focused on ambiance and lack in cuisine. Happily, I was wrong! The food was fantastic! The city views, lush garden, and divine cuisine bring the Mediterranean to Miami!
What to Wear in Miami
Miami (especially in the Summer) is hot, hot, hot! Honestly, it’s the humidity more than anything that makes it hard. If you have ever been to Texas in Summer you know how hot it can be. However, when you are in the shade in Texas it’s not so bad. In Miami, shade or no shade get ready to sweat. Humidity is like a sauna and the air is very sticky.
With that said, Astra Miami is all outdoor (covered) seating. Be sure to check the weather for rain before booking. Hurricane season is from June 1- November 30th. There are almost always afternoon showers in the Summer.
December to April is really the best time to visit Miami! The weather is beautiful and outdoor rooftops like this are amazing!
A beautiful dress like the one I’m wearing is perfect for a tropical vacation. It’s lightweight and gives Santorini, Greece vibes with the blue and white. I’m wearing a size small, and I am almost 5’5. The dress does run a bit short but wear THESE underneath to look skinny and prevent your lady parts from making an appearance! I really can’t stop wearing this gorgeous dress!
Comfort is key in Wynwood. There is a lot of walking and I love the Chanel espadrilles for year round wear in Miami. They are comfy, fashionable, and chic. I bought mine for a major deal!
