How To Look Rich And Classy On A Budget
Want to look rich but ballin’ on a budget? I got you. I have the exclusive tips on how to look rich and classy on a budget. While I currently wear red bottoms and designer purses, it wasn’t always this way. I’ve always worked hard for what I own. I want to teach you how you can own designer items too!
It all starts with a budget. From there you can really get anything you want. If you save, are persistent, and have your eye on the prize: anything can be yours!
I’m a true believer in quality over quantity. If you are looking for cheap buys from Forever 21, this post isn’t for you. If you want the secrets on where to buy well-made quality clothes (and even authentic Louis Vuitton bags) without breaking the bank, I have all the tips to set your fashion goals on fire!
Research what you want (Avoid impulse buys)
Tip number one: Don’t make impulse purchases. Be thoughtful and mindful of what you desire. Create a vision board or make a list. If you keep track of what you really want you will be less likely to settle for lower quality items.

If you are on a budget (unless you are Jeffree Star, everyone has some sort of budget) than think about what you want (mostly, what you need) to keep your head in the game. An impulse purchase is going to add another blue bag to your wardrobe when you really need a white crossbody. Now you have accomplished nothing and still have to spend money on that crossbody. Get where I’m going?
Avoid impulse purchases. Know what’s currently in your closet and what’s missing. Make smart purchases!
Instead of fast-fashion focus on well-made fashion
Fast fashion means cheap materials, child slavery, and low-quality clothes. I’m not saying you need to shop at Neiman Marcus for great clothes. We are still talking about ballin’ a budget. There are stores that carry well-made clothes at affordable prices.
Forget places like Forever 21 and Charlotte Russe, it’s crap. If you want to look rich and classy you need to know my secret weapon stores.
Secret Weapon Stores
-
Asos

So why these stores? What makes them so special? These stores offer quality clothing at affordable prices. I recently talked about my 8 secrets to shopping on ASOS and why Bloomingdales has the best prices.

Color, Cut, & Fit
Color, cut, and fit are three important factors when shopping. If you want to look rich and classy you need to play the part.
Color: Focus on neutrals with a small percentage of your wardrobe being patterns. Neutrals are easier to re-wear and make multiple outfits. Patterns can get old quickly.
Cut: Think of clothes like your hair. A good cut can totally change the way you look. Focus on cuts that accentuate your best features.
Fit: Don’t wear clothes that are too tight or too big. It’s also great to invest in a tailor! A tailored outfit makes the world of difference.
Buy pre-owned
Pre-owned is my favorite way to afford designer bags and shoes. Ultimately, if you want to look rich and classy owning something designer will definitely help (but it’s not necessary).
The best stores to get insane discounts is Fashionphile and Therealreal. You can thank me later!
Seriously, you can buy Louis Vuitton and save thousands of dollars.

Some final tips to make sure you look and live your best life!
- Be confident! How you portray yourself to others is a big indication of how people perceive you. If you want to look put together (even if you are a hot mess inside) depict yourself as put together with a clean appearance.
- Smile! A pretty smile goes a long way. It makes your appear prettier, friendlier, and classier.
- Good hygiene is really important! My favorite deodorant will make you smell rich as f**k!! Sorry, but you will be most likely hooked to $27 deodorant but it’s a life changer.
