Swan Miami
Swan Miami is the new chic restaurant that recently opened in the Miami Design District. The ambiance is that out of an Instagram photo with an open courtyard full of lush greenery, gorgeous bar, and the most Instagram-worthy- food.
If you don’t care about Instagram, than just bring your appetite. The food is just as good as the scene.
Swan Miami Menu
I went to Swan Miami for brunch (its open for Brunch, Lunch & Dinner). The prices are what is expected for the Miami Design District. If you haven’t been, the Miami Design District is an upscale outdoor shopping facility. Adorned with shops from Louis Vuitton, Dior, Cartier, and more trendy clothing like Alice & Olivia and Theory. It’s not a typical “mall” as everything is outdoors and there are lots of art murals and artistic designs that make the Miami Design District unique.
The menu at Swan consists of so many delicious choices. It was hard to choose one- so I got two! My friend and I shared the wagyu pastrami hash ($17) and the bourbon caramel cinnamon roll ($11). As well as the cutest lattes with swan art embedded in the almond foam.
Wagyu pastrami hash- it’s chef inspired and something unique. The wagyu has a nice crunch and the egg and potatoes are a perfect match. There are mustard seeds that give the dish a nice kick. This reminds me of something you would find in New Orleans (not creole flavored but interesting like the food in NOLA).
Bourbon caramel cinmamon roll- this dish is divine. I recommend it if you want something sweet. Pairs perfectly with a latte. However, I personally love to mix sweet and savory. This roll is perfect to share with someone and I would recommend getting another dish to accompany like the wagyu or goat cheese omelet (I want to try that one next!)
The Swan Miami latte is adorable! I got mine with almond milk and stevia. The art on the latte gives it that little something extra.
Swan Miami ambiance
I arrived at the restaurant for Brunch when they opened at 11am. It was quiet and the perfect time to grab a latte with a friend. We sat inside (because the Miami humidity is starting to creep in!) and it’s completely adorable inside. The tables are white with fresh flowers and red and pink striped booths. You can tell that the owners (Pharell Williams and David Grutman) put a lot of thought into the interior design and aesthetic.
There is a beautiful terrace out front with lush greenery if you want to eat outside.
For a sexier Miami experience, try Swan at nighttime when they open Bar Bevy. Have a drink upstairs in the swanky rooftop bar and head downstairs for a magical evening at Swan.
What to wear to Swan Miami
Free People embroidered dress | Gucci dionysus bag | David Yurman cable bracelet | Hermes clic h bracelet | David Yurman clasp bracelet
In typical Miami fashion, you can’t go wrong with being overly dressed. Since it was Brunch, I went for this casual but chic free people dress. I love this dress for Spring and Summer. It’s easy to wear and comfortable fabric.
