5 signs you need glamour in your life
This outfit. Those pants. A SEQUIN WALL. I mean really, you knew this topic was coming. I nominated myself as the Queen of glam and take full responsibility to educate the public on what it means to be extra. Grab a glass of champagne and let’s get into this.
Are you struggling with the mundane tasks of daily life? We’ve all been there. Sometimes you just need some excitement in your life- but that doesn’t mean you need to go spend a fortune on a carnival cruise or Jamaican beach resort. That does sound lovely though…
Today is the day to “treat yo self”. Give yourself a pat on the back. You handled sh*t. Don’t wait for someone to recognize your accomplishments, treat yo self to something nice.
5 SIGNS YOU NEED GLAMOUR IN YOUR LIFE
Sign number 1: You have been wearing the same 5 or 8 outfits over and over and over. It may be practical, but listen you can’t take your money with you when you die. So treat yourself to something fancy.
Sign number 2: The last time you did something fun or social on the weekends was…you can’t even remember. Treat yourself to some margaritas and tacos. The guac might be extra. But so am I.
Sign number 3: Have you seen the sun lately? Are you going to work before the sun rises and leaving before it sets? Take some time on the weekends to sit outside to get some fresh air and work on your tan. Unless it’s still snowing in your neck of the woods. Remind me again why you still live there?!
Sign number 4: You haven’t been on vacation in years. One day you are going to be old, hard of hearing, and half blind. Enjoy the beautiful scenery while you can! If you can’t afford it, start saving!!
Sign number 5: There once was a time when you felt youthful and full of energy. Now, all of your energy is consumed at work or taking care of others. Make time for yourself! It can be something as little as reading a book and taking a bubble bath or going on that much-needed shopping spree. Make yourself priority numero uno (that means number one for my non-native Miami readers.)
I hope these tips are helpful, and maybe gave you a laugh or two! All outfit details listed below!
