I surprised my husband with a trip to LA! My husband graduated from the University of Texas, so as a wedding gift I surprised him with tickets to the USC/Texas football game. Football & shopping at Louis Vuitton on Rodeo Drive. I win, he wins 🙂
Beverly Hills
Beverly Hills that’s where I want to be! I had the BEST time on Rodeo Drive. The shopping was incredible; it had every major couture brand in the country. I felt right at home. I am already dreaming about our next trip and staying at the Beverly Hills hotel. That is fashion girl #travelgoals!
The weather in Los Angeles is incredible. It’s sunny without being humid, and it cools down to sweater weather at night. I feel like I live on the wrong coast. Both Bryan and I agree that California weather is far superior to Florida weather. The ocean in Florida is much warmer- something to consider for your next beach vacation!
I wore the perfect dress for Cali weather. I am loving this midi floral dress by Joie. The silk fabric feels wonderful and looks phenomenal. It matched the gorgeous flowers throughout Beverly Hills. I am wearing a size XS, it runs true to size.
I get a lot of questions about the handbag that I am wearing. The Valentino rockstud tote is one of my favorite handbags. It is versatile and very functional. If you are interested, I have a review on youtube found here.
Texas & USC Football
Fight Texas Fight! It was a great game! Double overtime in the Coliseum. Texas ended up losing to USC but the game was inspirational by the longhorns. I had so much fun at the game & love the outfit that I wore!Â
The Seychelles dwelling boot is so comfortable and cute. I love how it came a bit distressed. Finding Texas orange clothing can be quite the challenge but this Free People jumper was perfect! I love that it is also a Fall color, so the jumper will get more than one wear this season. I paired it with an off the shoulder bell sleeve top, but the great thing about the jumper is you can get creative with the shirt underneath!
I can’t wait to visit LA again! I plan on coming back!

I don’t do it much anymore but I love tailgating down at the coliseum from time to time. Looks like you had a blast!
Aw that’s such a sweet gift! And a good time for you 😉
