Gingham is everywhere and sometimes the choices can be overwhelming. I picked this dress for a few reasons: the one shoulder, the ruffles, the shape, and the price. Gingham can get repetitive so I love that this dress has fun details with the one shoulder that intertwines with the ruffle. I prefer this print in navy and white as opposed to red or black. I think that navy is a great transitional color that can be worn year round. This dress would look adorable with tights and booties in the fall.
Due to the trendiness of gingham, I was excited to see that this dress was less than 80. It fits my needs of being a mid-level designer and good quality but not breaking the bank. This dress is available for purchase here.
The espadrilles are Tory Burch which are no longer available. I found a similar style by Steve Madden here and one from Miu Miu here. I love espadrilles because of the comfort and the flatform makes it easy to walk in! I paired the whole outfit with one of my favorite handbags, it is available in tons of colors here. It’s on the small size but small bags are everywhere right now. I think it’s a great idea to have different size bags in your collection. I love the smaller ones for errands and trips.
