The Saint Laurent tribute is one of the most iconic pair of heels a fashion-girl can have in her closet. This heel debuted in 2004 and continues being manufactured in new colors every single season. Thirteen years down and many more to go. When it comes to shelling out money for luxury, it’s best spent on items that are “iconic” rather than “trendy.” This shoe is worth every pretty penny.
Hedi Slimane became the creative director of the fashion house a few years ago. The name changed from Yves Saint Laurent to Saint Laurent. Therefore, these shoes have different titles ranging from Ysl tributes to Saint Laurent tributes.
Saint Laurent Tribute 105: This is the higher, sexy version of the heel. It is found in classic black here and stunning gold here. The heel height is 5 1/4 with a 1 1/4 platform which equals 4 inches. These shoes are very comfortable considering the heel height. Depending on how confident you are with a high-heel it can easily be worn for hours with ease and comfort. The platform makes for easy standing, so no need to worry if you are attending an event without many seating areas. If you are more accustomed to a lower heel than I would recommend the tribute 75.
Saint Laurent Tribute 75: This is the lower heel version. It is found in classic nude here and classic black here. It has a 3 3/4 heel with a 3/4 platform equaling 3 inches. This shoe is more comfortable and easier to walk in than the 105, but a bit more of a chunky aesthetic. The gold heels pictured above are an older version. The new version of the YSL tribute 75 has the same t-strap as the higher version. They look exactly the same minus the heel height. There is no price difference between the two heel heights. The tribute 75 is best for walking long-distances or for dancing into early morning hours. If you are comfortable wearing heels and prefer the aesthetics of the higher version, than I would recommend the 105 because for a high-heel it is one of the most comfortable salon shoes I own.
The best stores to find these beautiful shoes are Saks, Nordstrom, or Neiman Marcus. I suggest purchasing from stores with great customer service and reputations.
I give the Saint Laurent Tribute 5-stars for comfort and aesthetics. It is more comfortable than Christian Louboutin and similar in comfort to Jimmy Choo. However, the YSL tribute 105 is more comfortable than any Jimmy Choo I have tried on that is greater than 4 inches.

Are they true to size? I have read different reviews about being to small and having to size up.
Can you please advise.
Hey, I would go up half a size from your American size. I normally wear a size 6 in US shoe designers but 36.5 in European designers. Hope that helps!

Hello. Does the patent leather scratch and crease easily? Which leather do you prefer in terms of durability?
The patent leather is my favorite. It’s really easy to clean and if it scratches you can easily remove them with a little bit of nail polish remover. The plain leather ones are nice too! I just prefer the shine of patent leather. To clean them this is my holy grail product: https://amzn.to/2XWvudx
I have a video showing you how to protect handbags but you can use the same process for shoes! Find that here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kru4IObVN6I&t=4s
I hope this answers your question, if you have any others feel free to reach out!
Thanks for sharing! Hi, what size do you wear in these tribute heels vs Christian Louboutin?
I size up in the tributes to 36.5 or 37 and in Christian Louboutin I usually wear 36 (sometimes but rarely 36.5). Hope that helps!
